Admit it, you fell in love with Rakel and Farrin in Heart of Ice. Sacrifice made the story complete but you heart still wanted more. And then there came Snowflakes. This short story collection answered questions and gave you the extra content you really hoped for to feel satsified. It's a must read after the first two Snow Queen books. And it makes my heart happy now that I read it. I still wish for more stories from the Snow Queen time, maybe a Phile series? Hint, hint. But, I'm now excited to go on and read the rest of K. M. Shea's books. Fantastic writing. Thorough world building. She's a talented author and I can't wait to read more.Product details

This book clears up the few lingering issues with the two book. It give extra stories that were not on the website and is full of great stories.
A nice rounding up on the Snow Queen books. It is a group of short stories. Some I had read as freebes on her web site and there are three new stories. I love that she likes to let you get to know more about some of the support characters.
For those who have enjoyed the snow Queen here is a nice collection of shorts giving some smaller pieces of the story, providing background and insight and rounding out the narrative. You should definitely read the Snow Queen books first, though, as this book depends heavily on those for context.
I loved the background stories! I really enjoyed reading all the extras, getting to know the characters better. A definite need to read along with the rest of the series!
Some of these shorts are stories others are just scenes. It is to be expected some work better than others. I loves The Snow Queen series and would read anything in this world.
I enjoyed this companion collection of short stories. I'd read most of these when they were released for free on the author's website before they were taken down to be collected in this book. There are a few new stories, and I think my favorite new one was the last one.
It's a quick read, and a good companion to the Heart of Ice duology.
I enjoyed some of the stories more than others, but I found them all worthwhile reading. The Tenebris POV was very revealing because it is not touched upon in the last book. It gave a new perspective on his personality when you find out his price for using magic. I also liked the back story for Oskar since I wondered why he became her attendant and why he stayed when all others were happy to leave.
I certainly recommend this set if short stories as a final chapter t the Snow Queen trilogy. if only the author would provide more information about he future lives of Rakel and Farrin.
